Although not ‘set in stone’, it is VERY helpful that you use the following steps in signing up for a LOCAL event or travel excursion.

1 – Use the sign-up sheet for each bus trip

2 – PLEASE SECURE ONE PAYMENT FOR ONE EVENT OR TRIP WITH ONE CHECK. (If a husband/wife or 2 partners are going on the same trip/event, one check payment is acceptable. It’s important to not bundle multiple trips into one check payment.)

3 – Checks are preferred; PAY PAL can be used via an invoice emailed to you so we do not handle your credit card. A small convenience fee is added automatically by Pay Pal.

4 – Any trip can be cancelled if we don’t have enough passengers to pay for the over-all trip. Your checks are HELD for deposit until a trip is firm for a “GO”.

5 – If a trip is cancelled, we will either return or shred your check payment.

6 – Check website for information & details (we try to keep it up-to-date as much as possible)

7 – Call or email us with questions

MONTANA HISTORY MUSEUM – DOWNTOWN HELENA

THURSDAY, APRIL 9, 2026 – 3PM

AN AFTERNOON STROLL through the Lewis & Clark County Historical Society …. PLUS ….enjoy a blast from the past at the Western Montana Railroad Historical Association!!

End the afternoon with a No-Host dinner at Shellie’s (in private dining room)!

FOLLOW THE PLAN OF ACTION HERE….AND invite a friend!

SIGN-UP FOR THIS MEETING/TOUR/DINNER BEFORE 5PM ON FRIDAY, APRIL 3.

We need you to support this effort with your confirmed reservation so we have the usage of the private dining room.

All sign-ups will be entered in a door prize drawing.

3PM – Updates, announcements, news to share!! Coffee (or water?), cookies, conversation, catch-up!

Museum surprises include: Dennis McCahon's drawings, all the museum items from the telephone museum, a new display of the Marlow & Ming theaters & more!

Volunteers from the history museum & the train station have graciously stepped forward to be ‘conductors’ of a tour, answer questions, guide you through the highlights…..Thank you to these individuals for giving of their time – it is much appreciated!

Interested in being part of the action at the Steamboat Block? The historical society folks meet for a program at 7PM on the 2^nd Tuesday of every month. Coming up on April 14, John Axline will be presenting the background & history of the bridges of Lewis & Clark County (much like…..”The Bridges of Madison County”…. the movie & theatrical production!?)

Adjourn around 5PMish & travel to Shellie’s Café for a No-Host dinner. We need you to support this effort with your confirmed reservation so we have the usage of the private dining room.

Although there is no charge for visiting the museum, any donations are welcome.
